Call for submissions: ImmPrint

ImmPrint, a new publication of US-based Community Initiatives Visiting Immigrants in Confinement (CIVIC), is seeking submissions from individuals affected by detention or with experience dealing with the immigration detention system. ImmPrint will feature accounts by migrants, poetry, artwork, and commentary on immigrant detention. Submissions may be made in one of four categories: stories from detention, visitor and practitioners, detention news and actions, and intersectional experiences. Call for evidence on the human rights implications of Brexit

The UK Parliament’s Joint Committee on Human Rights has issued a call for evidence on any impact of the UK’s proposed withdrawal from the EU on the human rights framework and protection of human rights in the UK. Submissions may be no more than 1,500 words in length and can be submitted by both groups and individuals. The deadline for submissions is 10 October 2016.
