Dr Wilson is Professor of Political Science at the University of Central Florida. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University an A. M. in Political Science from Washington University and a B.A. in Economics and Economic and Social History (Honours) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland.
He has published many articles on Costa Rica, specifically on Costa Rican politics and on the enforcement of rights in Costa Rican courts. He is the author of Costa Rica: Politics, Economics, and Democracy and co-author of Courts and Power in Latin America and Africa.
