DASSAN is a Darwin organisation that works to provide support to people in detention, educate the community and advocate for individuals and against mandatory detention. DASSAN works to stop the detention of all refugees, particularly children, by organising protest marches, letter-writing campaigns, and visits to detention centers. While they don’t provide legal aid, they may be able to assist asylum seekers in finding appropriate assistance.
