Ms. Kahina C Bouagache is a legal adviser on Maghreb countries, holds Masters degrees in International Law, is licensed as attorney at law (Algiers) and is a member of Manaar Legal Consultancy. Manaar’s Pro Bono initiative has been created to provide free legal advice to parties in need in the Middle East and North Africa. The team is encouraged and supported to use their legal knowledge and other professional skills to benefit those who are disadvantaged, under-privileged or lack of access to the advice they can offer. They are dedicated to empowering women in the Middle East and North Africa through promoting development initiatives and projects. Kahina’s professional experience includes freelance program management, legal advice to NGOs, American Bar Association (Rabat, Algiers). She has acted as consultant to Middle East Partnership Initiative Alumni Network Algeria (US State Department PRogram in MENA region) and since 2011 has been an active participant at the DOHA forum. She has published in Algiers BAr Magazine, International Journal for Not-for-Profit Law, 2007 Global Integrity report. She is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
