The Center for Migration, Identity and Rights Studies (CMIRS) aims to contribute to and inform public debate on migration, identity and rights issues. CMIRS works to: improve opportunities for communication and gain knowledge about European policy developments with regards to migration, identity and rights; strengthen the role of civil society as a crucial actor in deepening citizen’s dialogue and participation in decisions affecting the Cyprus’ overall development; open channels of communication between civil society and policy makers and raise awareness on issues that have been missing from the public agenda.
