Bridget Musungu

Bridget Musungu is an independent consultant. She brings over 10 years’ experience working in the non-profit and philanthropy space in Africa. She holds a BA & MA in International Relations from the United States International University of Africa (USIU). Bridget has focused her career on understanding and supporting civil society groups advocating for civil liberties in conflict and post-conflict nations. She has worked with the Open Society Foundations where she supported grant making and advocacy programmes in Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. She most recently worked with the International Organisation on Migration (IOM) where she served as Policy and Project Development Officer, liaising with the African Union and UN bodies on migration interventions, international border management, and the rights of displaced persons in Africa.
