IRRI is looking for community volunteers to participate in our SPACE Project (Strengthening Safety, Protection and Peaceful Co-existence for Women and Youth in Northern Uganda). Please visit our website at for more information on the project.


1. English language skills and knowledge of the common languages spoken in Palabek, Rhino Camp and Palorinya Refugee settlements.

2. Resident in Palabek, Rhino Camp or Palorinya refugee settlements

3. Access to an internet connection is preferred

4. Basic understanding of Sexual Gender-Based Violence response with paralegal background.

5. Out of school with at least S.4 certificate or its equivalent and aged between 18-35 years.


1. Send your application to or hand-deliver with photocopies of your Refugee Attestation card and National ID together with your application by 10th August 2021 to:
* Rhino Camp: RWC1 offices in Tika and Eden, OPM and BRAC office at Yoro Base camp
* Palorinya: RWC1 offices in Zone 3 (East and West) and OPM offices at Palorinya Base camp
* Palabek: RWC1 offices in Zone 5 (A and B) and LC1 offices at Palabek Kal Ogili
